GENERAL ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

There will be a total of eleven awards, and each is a one-time award. Awards for each scholarship are as indicated. Awards will be sent directly to the school/institution to which the winning student enrolls. No awards will be paid directly to the individual winner.

  • Jack M. Jensen Memorial Scholarship: No special requirements. There will be two (2) recipients for this scholarship; one male and one female winner. Each award will be for $775.
  • Rob Armagost Memorial Scholarship: $775. Applicant must have participated in CROSS COUNTRY OR TRACK for at least one year during their high school career.
  • Graydon Rathbun Memorial Scholarship: $1400. Applicant must be bilingual and planning to major in a language other than their native tongue.
  • Grace Metcalf Memorial Scholarship: $875. No Restrictions.
  • James Gray Memorial Scholarship: $675. No Restrictions.
  • BPO Does Drove #4 Scholarship: $900. No Restrictions.
  • PGER Vincent R. Collura Scholarship: $1,050. No Restrictions.
  • BPOE Lodge #80 Bowler’s Scholarship: $900. Applicant must have bowled competitively during league play during their senior year.
  • Harlan “Lee” Erisman Memorial Scholarship: $675. No Restrictions.
  • James Rakers Memorial Science Scholarship: $650. Recipient will be required to verify their declared major is in the field of science.
  • Adam "Curly" & Leata Schwindt Scholarship: $625. Recipient must be a high school senior who plans to major in Engineering as a college freshman.
  • Richard "Dick" Blomgren Scholarship: $675. Recipient must be a high school senior who plans to major in the Arts.
  • Agricultural Scholarship: $1,250. Recipient must be a high school senior who plans to major in the field of argricultural as a freshman.
  • The following eligibility requirements apply to this scholarship:

  • Open to all Lincoln and surrounding area high school seniors. For students attending out-of-town schools, parents must reside in Lincoln jurisdiction.
  • Complete the application blank(s) in full –All questions must be answered. Attach other requested information to the application.
  • Be certain that the application is signed and dated as requested. The financial data page must be signed by the parent or guardian and included by the applicant before mailing or delivering to the Elks Lodge.
  • Indicate which scholarships the applicant is eligible for and applying. (The same application may be used to apply for up to two scholarships. A new application is required if applying for more than two General Scholarships.
  • All applications will be judged on the basis of scholarship, leadership, need, and other information as requested.
  • All completed applications must be returned to the Lincoln Elks Lodge #80 by the published date to be eligible.
  • ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN THE APPLICATION IS SOLELY FOR THE USE OF LINCOLN LODGE #80 SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE.
