Elks Awards Day - 2011

Lincoln Elks Lodge #80 celebrated Elks National Youth Week by honoring the scholastic abilities of our area youth, on Monday, May 2, 2011, at Southeast Community College. Before a crowd of approximately 500 parents, grandparents, relatives and friends, the youth from all Lincoln schools, both public and parochial, and nearby schools - Raymond Central, Waverly, Milford, Malcolm, Crete and Norris - were honored. The Seniors honored received Scholarships and the Juniors class members received Certificates of Achievement in 16 different Academic and Extra Curricular categories. In total, nearly $30,000 in financial aid was presented. The Paulding and Esther Smith Memorial Youth Fund and the Lincoln Elks #80 Charitable Fund underwrite all of the scholarships given.
